The Cass Tech Class of 1985 Foundation is soliciting contributions from graduates of Cass Technical High School, staff, parents, and the general public to support the award of grants to the high school to fund the school’s participation in student team competitions and performances at the local, regional, national, or international level.

The high school will be required to submit grant applications to the Cass Tech Class of 1985 Foundation requesting funding in support of the above described activities. The form of grant application is a link located at the bottom of the web page. Upon receipt of the grant application, the Grant Committee, made up of five (5) members of the Board of Directors will meet to discuss the application and provide a recommendation of support (and the amount to be contributed) or non-support to the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors will then vote on the recommendation. If the decision is made to provide financial support, the high school will be responsible for providing the Company with a report of how such monies were spent and the results of the competition or performance. Approximately 25% of the Cass Tech Class of 1985 Foundation total time will be allocated to the review and administration of grants to the high school.
